Alpha: An opportunity to explore the meaning of life!
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner over ten, thought-provoking weekly sessions. Vineyard 101: Newcomer’s Class
This is a two-part newcomer’s class that is an opportunity for newer folks to get better acquainted with our Sr. Pastor, Rob Davis. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn about the Vineyard movement and the history of the Vineyard Church here in Hopkinton, get an introduction to our Discipleship program, and find out how to get more involved. Class is offered quarterly.
Vineyard 201: Discover your Gifts
(Pre-requisite: Vineyard 101)
This is a two-part class for those who are ready to discover their spiritual gifts and start serving. This is a discussion-based class where folks will explore why we are all given spiritual gifts, and how we can use them to bless the Church. Participants will use a gifts assessment tool to identify gifts which is to be completed prior to the second class. Class is offered twice each year.
Vineyard 301: Vineyard Leadership Development
(Pre-requisite: Vineyard 201)
This is a full one-day class and is a requirement for anyone in a leadership role. Topics will include servant leadership, church growth, and an expanded look at the vision and values of the Vineyard Church in Hopkinton. Class is held annually.
Vineyard Leadership Institute
(Prerequisites: Vineyard 301, currently serving in a leadership capacity here at VCH, and Pastors recommendation)
Vineyard Leadership Institute (VLI) is a two-year, part-time academic and leadership development program. VLI was created to integrate hands-on training, ministry experience, spiritual formation, and academic understanding with an uncompromising commitment to excellence in biblical-theological, ministerial and spiritual-formational training. Our church is an at-a-distance site for VLI. This program is recommended for those called to church planting, full-time ministry, or operate in expanded leadership roles as a lay person.
