Vineyard Hopkinton Youth Ministry brings teens together on Sundays and for activities throughout the year. Vineyard Youth are easy going, and love the fun random spontaneous moments just being with each other as they get to know Jesus and what His plans might be for them.
Sunday Classes:
- Second Service: From 10:45am-11:15am teens and parents are encouraged to worship together as a family in the sanctuary. From11:15am –12:15pm Jr. Youth Class (grades 6-8) meets in the youth room; Sr. Youth Class (grades 9-12) meets in the conference room or outside weather permitting.
But, hey, it’s not all just learning, it’s about making a difference in our world. So we do some hanging out, and then we do some reaching out too. Youth activities include special events, retreats, mission trips, and outreach. Feel free to contact the church office for a Monthly Youth Calendar, or pick one up on Sundays at the community table in the foyer.
Reaching our Community: Our youth have participated in community service projects including helping people in need with yard work and painting, delivering Christmas presents as part of the Angel Tree Ministries, and collecting items to ship to our troops overseas.
Reaching our World: This past summer our Sr. Youth traveled to West Virginia to assist with construction projects in poor communities. For the past several years, our church has all participated in short-term mission trips to the Dominican Republic. Adults and teens have traveled to this Spanish-speaking country to assist with hands-on service projects and to support on-going church planting and outreach efforts in village areas.
Youth Band & Drama: Vineyard Youth are an integral part of our church! Teens use their God-given talents to sing, play instruments and even lead worship during some services. At special events, teens have acted in drama sketches and have given dance performances as well.
